TRANSFER: Mia Parry signs for Town on loan from Blackburn Rovers.

Huddersfield Town Women are delighted to welcome Mia Parry on loan from Championship side, Blackburn Rovers until the end of the season.

Parry started her footballing career when she was 8-years-old, within the Liverpool youth set-up. The young midfielder joins Huddersfield following spells at Liverpool Feds and Blackburn Rovers in recent years. Parry can’t wait to get started:

“I am really excited to be joining Huddersfield. I know the quality they possess all over the pitch and I can’t wait to be a part of that. I can’t wait for the new challenge and to hopefully help pick up even more points in this second half of the season.”

Town fans can expect to see Mia have great composure on the ball with quick combination play. Additionally she is known for how she breaks up play to launch dangerous attacks for her team. This excites manager, Glen Preston:

“We’re delighted to bring in Mia from Blackburn for the rest of the season on loan, and we’re grateful to Blackburn for working with us to get this deal done quickly.”

“Mia has trained extremely well with us this week and is an obvious talent on the ball whilst showing the kind of tenacity we want off the ball – so we’re confident that’s she’s going to be a great addition to the set up and look forward to working with her for the rest of the season.”
